Penal Systems Network is a relational map of controversial penal systems worldwide. Countries are connected by key juridical practices—death penalty, life imprisonment, parole, indefinite sentences, and amnesty—showing whether and how they are applied. This self-organizing software layout reveals both similarities and differences across regions, highlighting central and peripheral forms of punishment.
