This single prompt launched a month-long dialogue with Midjourney v4 in December 2022. Dozens of iterative prompts and re-generations followed; only a few images were ultimately chosen as finished works.

This Heraclitean note underscores why each piece is unique. Every new prompt passes through a model that has subtly shifted (fresh random seeds, ongoing fine-tuning), and the artist’s intent has shifted, too. The chosen images freeze one unrepeatable moment in that evolving dialogue between human and machine.
